Wexford (U21 Football v Longford – Leinster Final)
The Wexford U21 Football management has given a vote of confidence to the team that defeated Carlow in the Semi-Final two weeks ago to play Longford in the Leinster Final on Wednesday night next 6th April. This is a very attractive pairing as both counties are searching for their first Leinster title in this grade. This will be Wexford’s fifth Leinster Final appearance, previous meetings – 1968 (Offaly) 1974 (Dublin), 1988 (after 3 replays lost to Offaly), and 2008 (Kildare). The game will be contested in O’Moore Park, Portlaooise on Wednesday night next 6th April at 7.45 pm.
