VHI GAA Cúl Camps Summer 2011

The annual Wexford VHI GAA Cúl Camps 2011 will get underway shortly with the first camps scheduled to commence week begining 4th July and continuing right throughout the summer months with the last one scheduled for 15th-19th August.

These camps are open to boys and girls and there is a great opportunity to learn the skills of the game – football, camogie and hurling in a friendly atmoshphere and at the same time having fun in a safe environment.  There are camps located in almost every corner of the county.  Details of these camps are available on the VHI GAA Cúl Camps website or the GAA.ie website.  It is also very easy to book on line to reserve a place.

Please do so asap as places are filling up quickly.  If you are unable to book online for any reason, please feel free to phone the Wexford GAA Office (Coaching Section) where the staff will be only too willing to answer any queries you may have.  For further details contact any of the following: Paul Carty (087-9707994), Kevin Kennedy (087-7678524), Luke O’Hanlon (086-8117430).  The contact number for the GAA Office is 053 91 44808.

This year the GAA has initiated a new VHI GAA Super Camp for 13-15 year old boys and girls. These are in addition to the array of camps in place for many years for primary school children across the county.  The two venues selected for the Super Camps this year are Rathnure and Buffers Alley.  The camp will run for 3 days – Wednesday 3rd to Friday 5th August. Applicants apply in the normal way – contact the GAA coaching office at 053 91 44808 or by visiting the VHI GAA Cúl Camp website or the GAA. website.
