Leinster Juvenile Handball championships 60 x 30

There was one win from three in the opening rounds of the Leinster 60 x 30 juvenile championships as Oisín Foley and Tomas Hall advanced in the Under 14 doubles championships. The Castlebridge pair of talented handballers took the win by beating Aaron Patterson and Alan Kinsella from Wicklow in the first round winning on a 15-4, 15-5 score line.This pair are expected to go very close on provincial honours with Oisín picking up a Féile Skills title in recent weeks at the National Féile na nGael competition.
Seamus Sinnott was not so lucky in the Under 14 singles as he lost out to David Curry from Wicklow on a 15-4, 15-10 score line, while Roisin Walsh was also unlucky not to advance in the Girls under 13 singles as she cruelly lost out by one ace on an 15-11,9-15,15-14 score line to Lisa Jordan also from the Garden county.
