Portlaoise beat Moorefiled to retain the Horeswood Sevens Cup 
Congratulations to Portlaoise on retaining the AZZURRI Horeswood Sevens titleover the June Bank Holiday weekend when they beat a strong Moorefield side inthe final.
They once again gave a brilliant display of quick and dynamic football withplayer of the tournament, Patrick Cahallane, standing out for the Laois team. Their management believe this is a team that is capable of winning a Leinstertitle this year and going on Saturdays performances it will take a very goodteam to beat them.
Credit must also go to Moorefield who fielded two strong teams with Jason Philips in particular standing out for the Kildare men.
