Hurlers seeking Easter Sunday redemption

Wexford’s hurlers will travel to Limerick on Sunday still smarting from the thumping dished out by Dublin in our home patch, Wexford Park last weekend.  Yes supporters are hurting but listening to Liam Dunne in the aftermath of Sunday’s defeat, the team and management share this hurt and are determined to regroup, learn and continue to develop and improve. Wex-Limerick

This is a a young side in transition and as painful as Sunday was, most people realise that it’s only by being challenged that we test our abilities and learn. Injuries and illness are still sidelining a number of key players but it is hoped that they will come back into the fold for the 8th of June Championship encounter with Dublin in Wexford Park.
