Football & Camogie doubleheader!

Some really great news, we’ve another massive winner takes all Wexford Park doubleheader this Saturday. 5pm Camogie v Clare; 7pm Football v Laois,

After last weekend’s fixtures fiasco its great to have two games at home of our supporters to come out and cheer the teams over the line.Wexford AI Camogie champs

This is a crunch game for both teams but for our All Ireland Camogie Champions once again under JJ Doyle, following losses to Galway and Kilkenny, Saturday’s game versus Clare is last chance saloon. A win will see them make the All Ireland Quarter final, a loss will see them dumped out and dethroned as champions.

Then following the Camogie comes football, as Wexford seek to push on following the excllent extra time win in Longford last Saturday night. It’s of course a chance to avenge Laois’s earlier visit this year to Wexford Park when the O’Moore men relegated Aidan O’Brien’s men.Wexford_vLongford_champ2013

Lets hope its a glory day for Wexford!
