A Good work ethic, Strength and Fire power up front resulted in a convincing win over Louth 3-15 to 2-5, in the first round of the Electric Ireland Leinster Minor Football Championship in Drogheda this weekend, Wexford out-classed Louth and made it a up hill struggle for them after their first half performance, Wexford scored 3-11 from play with the scores coming from our mid-field and all forward positions with Oylegates Seamus Casey hitting the net twice the Other scores came from our Mid Fielders Daire Barden and Niall Hughes a point each, Centre forward Tom Byrne 1-0 and two half forwards Ben Cowman and Adam Swan a point a piece, Full Forward and Captain Glen Malone a point and Corner Forward Tony Smith 6 Points and on the other Seamus Casey 2-1 and no 17 Ian Carty with 3 points. Wexford now go into a Leinster Quarter Final on Saturday 17th May
