Sporting People magazine a new Sporting magazine from the People Newspaper Group.
The magazine will be on sale from Thursday morning in newsagents all over the county.
It’s 96 pages, and retails at €2.50. Each and every one of the 49 clubs in the county is given a page profile, from the smallest all the way up to our Senior champions
We assess their chances for the rest of the year in both codes, look back at form to date and how the clubs have fared over the past three to four years. On each club page there’s a factfile listing team mentors, players in and out, players to watch, names of county players, and the club sponsor’s name.
We also have separate articles predicting the likely outcome of each adult county championship, from Senior down to Junior ‘B’.
There are action and team photographs throughout, along with a five-page match tracker which lists all results to date and fixtures to come.
It is the essential guide to the Wexford G.A.A. club scene and as I say it will be available Thursday, just at the right time as the football championships resume Friday.
