The Wexford People, New Ross Standard and Guardian newspapers are partnering with the GAA for the County Wexford Cúl Camps again this year.
The newspaper group are running a competition for a club to win a star coaching session with Conor McDonald, Mark Fanning and Katrina Parrock. It will be similar to last year, involving collecting tokens over four weeks beginning on Tuesday, May 17 from your local newspaper.
People Newspapers will also be the main sponsor for a skills test section which will be at each camp.
There will be two to four winners of that from each of the 46 camps throughout County Wexford (a boy and a girl for hurling and a boy and a girl for football) who will be brought to Wexford Park in August for a fantastic activity day as part of their prize.
At the launch on Thursday, children enjoyed playing in an inflatable pitch, getting a taster for the fun times ahead at Wexford GAA Cul camps.
GAA Games Development Manager Eoin Morrissey said that the original idea for summer camps for kids originated in Horeswood. Also in attendance was Denis Cadogan from the club and Managing Director of INM Regionals Michael Ryan.
