The 4th Annual Michael Laffan Memorial Tournament takes place on Saturday May 19th from 10am. Over 350 u10 and U11 boys from twenty teams from all over counties Wexford, Dublin, Carlow, Kilkenny and Kildare will hurl a total of forty games with each player receiving a commemorative medal on the day which will be presented by our guests-members of the Laffan family.

Speaking about the event Meabh Cooney PRO said “It promises to be a great success with busloads of hurling teams  descending on Killurin from various parts of Kilkenny, Dublin, Kildare and Wexford in u10 & u11 . The event will begin at 10am sharp and with impressive hurling on display on all three pitches , We hope it will run like clockwork to its conclusion in the early afternoon, with the weather remaining kind despite the forecast.
Glynn Barntown GAA Club would like to thank  Conor Kavanagh and his team for their excellent preparation for, and co ordination of the day and to all of the wonderful volunteers in our club who continue to turn out in great numbers to make club days like this run seamlessly.

GDA Diarmuid Byrne who has responsibility for the Go Games program said “it is a great blitz that encompasses the Go Games philosophy in promoting the positive sideline ethos and a great event as course of the participation calendar”
