Heart-breaking 1 point defeat to Connacht Side Galway in BEG Leinster U-21 Hurling Final

Heartbreak for Players, Management and supporters comes nowhere near describing the outcome of last night’s Leinster Final 1 point defeat to Galway, 4-21 to 2-26. Our U-21 Hurlers gave a Phenomenal performance in a 80 minute battle from start to finish all over the pitch.Wexford were two points ahead at the end of extra-time when Galway’s Sean Bleahene bagged the all-important goal with the last puck of the game.
Thankfully Wexford will progress to the All-Ireland semi-finals on August Bank Holiday weekend when we will face a strong Cork side with our heads held high and with the battling qualities they have shown, we could see Galway again
