The 11th of August will see one of the Summers biggest concerts land in the Grounds of St Martins GAA Club, Piercestown, Wexfrod. Live at the Castle Marquee Wexford is the first year of what we hope will be an annual event delivering top class acts at a reasonable price to the people of Wexford. Our first years line has been released and its sure to rock the roof off the large marquee which will be erected for the weekend.
‘CORNER BOY’ will start the event with their unbelievable show having just finished their tour of South Korea. This will be spectacular and will include all their amazing hits Morning Morning,Ghost Town City and their brand new single Good Bye Old Holy to name but a few.
Second on the stage are the incredible ‘4 OF US’. With some of the most recognisable hits like Mary, She hits me and Drag my bad name down they have been a household name since the late 80’s. The 4 OF US do not perform very often with their full band, however we are delighted to announce they will be performing with the full band for us in the Marquee. The 4 OF US will also be playing at the sold out Feile Classic Gig in Semple Stadium, Thurles in September.
Last act on stage on the night will be the absolutely amazing Tom Dunne and Something happens, These guys are the most energetic band you are likely to see anytime soon. The band do not perform live very often either so we are delighted that they have agreed to perform for us at this years, first ever LIVE AT THE CASTLE MARQUEE WEXFORD. Something happens will not disappoint with hits such as Hello Hello and Parachute which they perform as brilliantly and with as much energy now as they ever did. They are also playing at the sold out Feile Classic Gig in Semple Stadium, Thurles in September.
