Wexford Footballers hold on to promotion hopes

Wexford Footballers made a return to Inter-County Action today with a 3 point win over Limerick in Mick Neville Park, Rathkeale

1-13 to 1-10

The result keeps both sides in the hunt for promotion with Limerick facing a trip to Sligo next weekend knowing a win will end their four year stay in Division 4.

Wexford, meanwhile, will need to overcome neighbours Wicklow next Saturday in Chadwicks Wexford Park if they are to gain promotion.
